Hi all. Having read some of the postings on here i felt i had to contribute as well. To start with i'm from Northern Ireland and have also experienced SIDS.

My son was born on 14th June 2006 and weighed 8lb 1/2 oz. He was so happy and brightened up the lives of all those people who met him. My 'wee man' was perfect in every way. But things were to take a twist on the morning of 25th September 2006 when we were to find him dead. The police called and really made us feel like we had done...

Hello, my name is Robin Slater and I currently live in the Vermont area. I lost my daughter, Rosanna, due to preterm labor, at 23 1/2 weeks. She was born November 27, 2005 and due to a Stage IV brain bleed, we had to let her go, and she passed peacefully in my arms on December 2, 2005. We also had a son...born an angel May 23, 2006. My water broke and he passed before he was born at 16 1/2 weeks.

I write you because after my losses, and being somewhat a creative person, I did every...

I just lost my son in October, as of yet we haven't been given a official cause of death but all the tests results have come back negative so far and they have told us that if the last two come back negative they are going to classify it as SIDs.
My Patrick was born 5 weeks early. I was in labor for a week with him, they kept giving me medicine to try and stop labor and I was transferred twice. When he was born on October 20th, he was all of 4lbs 14oz and 14 3/4 inches. He was perfect....

I'm doubting that anyone will ever read this. I was reluctant to begin writing as I noticed the SIDS forum seems to have been deserted. I just figured maybe someone else might happen by and decide to reply or post also. So here I go.....

My sweet baby girl Dakota just passed away on September 15th. She just didn't wake up. September 17th she would have been 16 months old. The Dr. didn't come out and say that it was SIDS. They called it undetermined, I think because she was over a year...

My daughter was born on November 22nd 2004. She was healthy and happy. Everything was fine. I had just moved into my new house 2 days before christmas. I put her down christmas eve , woke up in the middle of the night to feed her then put her back down. When I woke up christmas morning , she was dead. I just thought she looked cold at first. Then i finally realized what I was looking at. She was dead. She looked so peaceful. Her little body was already stiff. I went into shock. I only had her...
